Big League Camp on Lake James

Big League Camp is a baseball and softball sports and lodging facility on Lake James, North Carolina. The property is 165 acres with water access to Lake James and the Catawba River, and features 15 log cabin rentals for individual rentals and facility attendees in addition to the sports facilities. The purpose of Big League Camp is to provide a combination of outdoor activities with sport-specific training from college coaches, professional coaches, and Major League Baseball Scouts. The camp focuses on team interaction, team competition, and team building to foster well-rounded players that have a multitude of skills to enhance their contribution to their team.

SUMMER CAMPS

It’s a fact that 85% of all Major League Hall of Fame Baseball players had ties to Outdoor Activities. Big League camp combines outdoor challenges with softball and baseball training camps to create a place for athletes to sharpen their skills and become more versatile team players.

CABIN RENTALS

Our facility features 15 cabins available for rental from September through January. Stay in a comfortable log cabin just minutes away from Lake James, downtown Asheville and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, with convenient access to Pisgah National Forest.

COLLEGE BASEBALL & SOFTBALL

College baseball & softball tournaments are available for early season dates. Full access to our facilities and lodging is included, as well as 3 meals per day for players. Indoor and outdoor fields, weight room facilities and classrooms are available for a complete training experience.

The Ultimate Training Facility

OUR FACILITY is fully featured with outdoor fields, indoor turf infield, batting cages, pitching mounds, virtual pitcher, along with the weight room, classrooms and video room. We will offer individual instruction for baseball and softball, as well as speed & agility and strength & conditioning training in week sessions.

We have 15 log cabins accommodating 6 and 8 guests each. Our facility is available for rental for team tournaments, trainings, events and weddings, and many other opportunities.
