OUR SUMMER CAMPS are a 5 day overnight camp that combines outdoor challenges with baseball and softball skill development. The outdoor challenges are great mental and physical tests that build mental toughness while having fun.

SCHEDULE: Campers will work out twice a day with major college and professional coaches and scouts to better their skills in their development and compete in three mental and physical outdoor challenges per day. Campers will be placed with friends to make up teams or have arrived as an entire team.

The teams will acquire points in Days 1-3 through the challenges. Day 4 will be game day with teams playing the other teams in game competition all day for the final points. Day 5 is the luncheon and awards ceremonies. It is also get away day to return home. The winning team with the most points at the end of the summer is crowned Big League Camp Champions and will return free of charge the following year to defend their crown.

A nightly guest speaker will have presentations for the campers nightly after dinner before lights out. These camps are a great source to get your name out to colleges in search of athletic scholarships and are a super team building experience as well. Prices include three meals per day, log cabin housing, camp workout shirts, laundry, and pro shop discounts.

85% of all MLB Hall of Famers had ties to outdoor activities.

HOUSING: Teams will stay in log cabins with bunks. Each cabin will house 8 players and coaches. The cabins will be equipped with central heat and air and electricity. There will be bath houses equipped with restrooms, showers, and sinks. There will be an indoor training facility equipped with a turf infield, batting cages, pitching mounds, weight room, store, team lounge and a dining patio.

FOOD: Food will be catered in to the camp and three meals a day will be provided. A general store will also provide snacks and materials for the campers to purchase. The store will also have big league discounted sports equipment.

LOCATION: We are on a beautiful property near Downtown Asheville, Pisgah National Forest on Lake James, NC.  Our property has waterfront on both Lake James and the Catawba River.  We are convenient to both Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Asheville Regional Airport.

PARENTS: There will be a few cabin rentals available at the facility for parents on a first come first serve basis.

RULES AND REGULATIONS: Rules and regulations are strict to prevent injury and to maximize training sessions. Examples will include designated electronic use times, curfews, team breakfast and lights out. Any team member caught breaking rules will be sent home and have their team penalized with a risk losing the championship title.

“Big League Camp is the ultimate team experience for anyone looking to challenge their players, build team chemistry, and have a lot of fun doing it. Our program will do it every year, and I personally can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend it!” – Monte Lee, Head Baseball Coach Clemson Tigers

“The guys at Big League Camp are doing extraordinary things up there and we have loved using their top notch facilities. Whether it’s baseball or just team bonding, I would highly recommend this place to any coach or player. “ – Paul Rozzelli, Head Baseball Coach Catawba Valley CC

“Big League Camp is the perfect place to send your kids to baseball and softball camps in the summer. They are affordable, the instruction comes from quality coaches, and it puts your son or daughter on the recruiting radar. This is as important if not more than showcase events.” – Danny Montgomery Assistant GM Colorado Rockies

“What a unique experience to ‘get away’ and just focus on your team and baseball. That’s hard to find in this day and age. It’s really refreshing to know that Big League Camp provides an opportunity to embrace camaraderie and development.
