OUR SUMMER CAMPS are a 5 day overnight camp that combines outdoor challenges with baseball and softball skill development. The outdoor challenges are great mental and physical tests that build mental toughness while having fun.

SCHEDULE: Big League Camp periodically offers summer instructional camps for youth baseball and softball players.

The camps are open to ages 12 through 19, but those under 13 must be day campers only.

The camps include instruction from college coaches, Big League’s outdoor challenges, lodging in our on-site cabins and meals. Cost is $850 for overnight campers and $750 for day campers.

Campers will work with college and professional coaches to improve their skills. They will also compete in daily mental and physical outdoor challenges. Campers will be placed with players of similar ages and skill levels.

Prices include three meals per day, log-cabin housing (clean and modern bathhouse), camp workout shirts, laundry, and pro-shop discounts.

85% of all MLB Hall of Famers had ties to outdoor activities.

HOUSING: Teams will stay in log cabins with bunks. Each cabin will house 8 players and coaches. The cabins will be equipped with central heat and air and electricity. There will be bath houses equipped with restrooms, showers, and sinks. There will be an indoor training facility equipped with a turf infield, batting cages, pitching mounds, weight room, store, team lounge and a dining patio.

FOOD: Food will be catered in to the camp and three meals a day will be provided. A general store will also provide snacks and materials for the campers to purchase. The store will also have big league discounted sports equipment.

LOCATION: We are on a beautiful property near Downtown Asheville, Pisgah National Forest on Lake James, NC. Our property has waterfront on both Lake James and the Catawba River. We are convenient to both Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Asheville Regional Airport.

PARENTS: There will be a few cabin rentals available at the facility for parents on a first come first serve basis.

RULES AND REGULATIONS: Rules and regulations are strict to prevent injury and to maximize training sessions. Examples will include designated electronic use times, curfews, team breakfast and lights out. Any team member caught breaking rules will be sent home and have their team penalized with a risk losing the championship title.

INSURANCE: A basic camp insurance will be provided.

Instructors: Former Professional and College Coaches

Players will receive instruction from former college and professional coaches. Instructors will vary from camp to camp. This is a great opportunity to get your player’s name into circulation for possible scholarship opportunities!
